In 2017, we will all be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of The Manchester Ball, during which time, the Manchester Ball has raised a fantastic sum of over £455,000 for local charities!!

In 2017, The Manchester Ball will again be held in aid of The Factory Youth Zone. This will be the 5th year that the Ball has been held at The Factory, during which time the Manchester Ball has raised £125,460 for their incredible work.

The Factory Youth Zone continues to be a vital resource in the current social and economic setting of Greater Manchester, where young people in the most deprived neighbourhoods have become more and more isolated from the city’s growing economic and social wealth.

In 2017, as The Factory Youth Zone celebrates an incredible five years, since opening their doors, the support and generosity you give on the night, will allow The Factory Youth Zone to develop and fund a new Bike to the Future project.

The Bike to the Future Project will offer training for young people aged eight to eighteen in basic bike manufacturing, mechanics and maintenance. This project encourages getting young people into employment, an interest in entrepreneurship, health and lifestyle benefits of getting active, as well as providing a valuable resource for the community in which the Factory Youth Zone works, with a facility that the community can use.

All of the young people involved in the project will be those who, without our support, would find it challenging to gain full employment, having left school with no qualifications or indeed are currently struggling in school.
